Make it personal, not harmful
Tape Club is for taste, context, curiosity, and connection. Disagreement is fine. Harassment, threats, hate, doxxing, stalking, sexual exploitation, and targeted humiliation are not.
Use work you can use
Upload only cover images you created or have permission to use. Unsplash images must be selected through Tape Club so attribution and source rules remain intact. Do not copy another member’s writing or pretend to be someone else.
Keep music metadata honest
Choose the correct recording when possible. Manual entries are welcome for local, obscure, or unreleased work, but do not deliberately mislabel artists, impersonate releases, or use a mix to spread deceptive links.
No spam or manipulation
Do not mass-post, buy or coordinate fake engagement, automate comments or follows, abuse reports, or use Tape Club primarily to advertise unrelated products.
Reporting
Use the Report control on content or profiles that may break these rules. Reports are private to the reporter and moderators. Do not use reporting to punish ordinary disagreement.
What may happen
Depending on context and severity, Tape Club may remove content, limit features, warn or suspend an account, or permanently remove it. Serious safety or legal issues may be escalated to the appropriate authorities.
